We created “SAKISHIMA LIGHTING ART,” a light art piece that uses laser mapping to illuminate the Sakishima Cosmo Tower, a landmark in the Osaka Bay Area. The event was held to promote the Osaka-Kansai Expo.

Archived data from the Japan Meteorological Agency’s observations of tide levels, solar radiation, wind direction and speed, and other data from Osaka Prefecture in 1970, the year the Expo was held, and 2025, was visualized, and laser mapping was used to express the synchronization of Osaka’s past and present.

大阪ベイエリアのランドマーク、さきしまコスモタワーをレーザーマッピングで彩る光のアート「SAKISHIMA LIGHTING ART」の演出を手がけた。当イベントは大阪・関西万博の機運醸成イベントとして実施された。

大阪万博が開催された1970年と2025年に大阪府で観測された「潮位」「日射量」「風向・風速」などの気象庁アーカイブデータを可視化し、過去と現在の大阪がシンクロする様をレーザーマッピングによって表現した。

レーザー演出のアートディレクション、気象データのエンジニアリングを担当。
