We were in charge of the lighting production for Professor Hiroshi Ishiguro’s signature pavilion, “The Future of Life,” at the Osaka-Kansai Expo. In collaboration with HORIBA Manufacturing, a major sensor company, we attempted to convert environmental data measured on-site into lighting data in real time. The pavilion itself acts as a living organism, sensing changes in the surrounding environment and converting them into “light,” expressing the expansion of “life.”

大阪・関西万博、石黒浩教授のシグネーチャーパビリオン「いのちの未来」のライトアップの演出を担当。センサー大手の企業HORIBA製作所と協業し、現場で計測した環境データをリアルタイムに照明データへと変換するような試みを行った。パビリオン自体が生命体として、周囲の環境変化を感じ取り、「光」に変えて、「いのち」が拡がる様を表現した。
